These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Dorbite mobile application and services ("Service"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Dorbite, you confirm that:
- You are at least 16 years old (or have parental consent)
- You accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy
- You agree to comply with all applicable laws in Nepal and your jurisdiction
1. Account Registration
User Accounts
- You must provide accurate registration information
- You are responsible for maintaining account security
- We may suspend accounts violating these Terms
Business Accounts
- Businesses must provide valid registration documents
- You warrant you have authority to represent the business
- You agree to pay applicable service fees
2. Service Description
Dorbite provides:
- Food ordering and delivery services
- Venue check-in and billing system
- Product/service search functionality
- Digital payment processing
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any service features.
3. Ordering and Check-In
For Users:
- Orders are binding once payment is processed
- Check-in billing begins when you scan venue QR codes
- You're responsible for verifying order details
- Cancellation policies vary by venue
For Businesses:
- You must honor displayed menu prices
- You're responsible for order accuracy and quality
- Check-in validations must occur promptly
- You must maintain proper hygiene standards
4. Payments and Fees
- All prices are in Nepalese Rupees (NPR) unless specified
- We support various payment methods (eSewa, Khalti, cards)
- Service fees apply to certain transactions
- Refunds are processed per Nepal Rastra Bank guidelines
- Businesses receive payouts within 3-5 business days
5. User Responsibilities
- Use the Service lawfully and ethically
- Don't attempt to circumvent security measures
- Don't misuse the check-in system
- Respect venue rules during check-ins
- Report any issues promptly
6. Business Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate menu/service information
- Honor all valid check-ins and orders
- Comply with all applicable taxes and regulations
- Resolve customer disputes professionally
- Don't engage in fraudulent activities
7. Intellectual Property
The Dorbite app and all content are our property or licensed to us. You may not:
- Copy, modify, or create derivative works
- Reverse engineer or extract source code
- Use our trademarks without permission
Businesses grant us license to display their content for Service purposes.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by Nepalese law:
- We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages
- Our total liability is limited to fees you paid in the last 6 months
- We don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
- We're not responsible for third-party actions
9. Termination
We may terminate or suspend access immediately if you:
- Breach these Terms
- Engage in fraudulent activity
- Cause legal exposure for us
You may terminate your account at any time through the app.
10. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes shall be:
- First attempted to be resolved through negotiation
- If unresolved, mediated in Kathmandu, Nepal
- Finally settled in Nepalese courts
Nepalese law governs these Terms.
11. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms with 30 days notice. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
